Rick and Jillian were great with communication. And my dog had a dogmate to romp with in a great fenced-in yard. I could tell how well she had been cared for by how she was when she got home - happy, healthy dog. Excellent care for my high energy pup

Our pup, Ella, has now had 2 stays with Rick and his sweet-natured dog, Barley. Ella and Barley get along beautifully and Ella is very comfortable at their home. Rick has been very accommodating and responsive with all our communications. He and his wife are very knowledgeable about dog behavior and positive training methods and have been loving and attentive with our high-energy girl.

Fenced yard. Big dog loves to play

We are an outdoorsy family and typically spend weekends hiking or around the yard doing gardening and projects. We would be happy to include your pup in these activities as well, if they enjoy them. Our fenced in yard is ideal because it allows the animals to safely relax outside while we work on projects. We also love to walk the rail trail located a few blocks from our house.

Since we rescued Barley, we ...

What Rick would like to know about your dog

Does your dog need to be let out midday?

Are there specific types of treats they require? We mostly use small pieces of mozzarella cheese sticks for training and treats.

Has your dog displayed any signs of aggression over food? Is your dog possessive of treats or toys? Both are fine with us, but we want to be sure we are taking the necessary steps to have a successful visit.

Would you be willing to do a meet & greet before boarding?
