Dogs Love Me! Calm & Patient
Pet care experience
There have been dogs in my life almost constantly since I was 6 years old, and continuing into my retirement. In fact I now have two grand dogs that I am very proud of! I believe I have a calming presence, which a dog can clearly sense, deescalating what could turn into a stressful situation. However I can be firm and use my voice to show my displeasure when a dog misbehaves (which I'm sure my 2 grand dogs will attest to!) I am currently not working at all, so I have plenty of time to play and walk your dog. Although I have a lot of free time, prearranged appointments would work best for me. My wife & I are very active (biking, golfing, kayaking, hiking) so last minute notifications would be very iffy for me. I do not plan to provide any home services in my own home at this time. So this section would not currently apply to me.
Reviews
I had a busy day at work and knew I wouldn't be able to give Baxter a good walk that day. Rick was great, on time, and great with Baxter. You can tell he is good with animals and I will defiantly use him again.
Rick is the go-to sitter for my two dogs. Both of my pups are still young and high energy, but Rick is always ready to bring them away to a nearby park or field to run around, or take them on long walks around the neighborhood. He's always spoiling them!

How often has your pet been left with a sitter? What length of time is your pet comfortable being left alone? being left with a sitter? What are the Do's and Don'ts? Tips for giving your dog the best experience.
A typical day
Dog walks will be fun, whether it's around the block or at the local dog park, chasing a tennis ball or Frisbee, we'll have a good time. Tug of war, you say? bring it, I am tough to beat! Belly rubs and play wrestle, whatever your dog enjoys is fine with me.
