I work from home and have about an acre with big shady trees, clean house with no pets of my own and yard is mostly fenced in and can easily fence in the rest if I find someone who needs my help with their pets. I care for family and friend's pets for days to weeks at a time and really miss them when they're back with the family. I love to walk the dogs through my quiet older neighborhood and have not had problems with other dogs and there is practically no noise or traffic. I also live about a mile from Stone Mtn Park, less than a mile from Mountain Park Park and love to take the dogs for walks in the parks when they are with me overnight or for days or weeks, it's great for both the dogs and my health; fresh air, sunshine and exercise makes for a richer life for everyone. I am experienced only with family and neighbors/friends and since I enjoy taking care of other's pets when I can, and I miss them when they are gone, I thought this might be great for a loved pet to have attention and exercise that they need when the owner cannot and I can, and I need the exercise and company as well, everyone wins. I did grow up with dogs as a child but then after college and off to work, I've never had another dog except for my family's many loved dogs which I've always had the pleasure to care for when needed. So now that I work from home, and have a nice big space and am close to parks, this may be a great and rewarding endeavour for me to try with maybe just a select few neighbors in need of help with their little buddies. Dogs seem to really like me and I love the beauty, activity and company. My yard is fenced in when I have a guest, sucure and open grassy space.
