Pet care experience
From when I was a young child we always had a dog in the family home. I emphasize family, because I love animals like family, not "pets". I have dealt with neurotic dogs, and I remain calm and patient with them. I walk, exercise, play with, and feed them. Capable of giving medication, brushing, and all aspects of caring for dogs. I am responsible, and would treat your dog as I would treat my own. Since November of 2016, I have been taking care of my dog who had surgery for torn ligaments in his paw. Care consisted of; carrying him in and out of the house, giving medication, massage and physical therapy, sleeping on the ground floor to make sure he would not attempt to climb stairs or jump on furniture. Gradually, increased daily walks and continued physical therapy.

To Whom It May Concern: Richard is an animal lover. On more than one occasion he has stopped his car to help locate the owner(s) of dogs running without a leash. Even after being bitten by a Husky who had been struck by a car, he continues to love and care for his dog, any stray he can help, and those he walks/plays with. Nanook had surgery for a torn tendon in his hind paw, Richard slept with him to make sure he would not try to jump on furniture or climb stairs while recuperating from the surgery. He gave him his pain medication, and did PT as instructed by the vet. You will not find a more dedicated individual to care for your dog or cat, than Richard. Thank you, Vivian
Richard is a true animal lover. He often cares for our three year old dog, Callie. He is very attentive and responsible and Callie loves when he comes to take care of her. I can rest assured that she is in good hands when I am not around.
