Richard is the greatest! After my regular pet sitter moved out of state, I was nervous to try someone new for the first time - especially since my first trip was for 12 days. But Richard did a fantastic job and went above and beyond in every way! I have two rescue dogs (one is a senior and the other has separation anxiety), two rescue cats, and a canary. Richard came by a few times before my trip to get to know everyone, and they all took to him right away. He stayed overnight, plus made two additional visits each day. He texted me each time he was on his way over, as well as when he left (with a list of everything he'd done, including taking in the mail and watering the plants), sent regular photos of everyone, and even videos of him greeting the dogs each time he arrived. When my flight was delayed, he made an extra visit at midnight and stayed with everyone until I got home in the wee hours of the morning. When I arrived home, the house was clean and vacuumed, and everyone was clearly happy and well loved. Between his 10 years' experience as a Vet Tech (the vet he worked for highly recommends him and uses his pet sitting services too), his obvious love of animals, and his strong work ethic, Richard is a great choice for all your pet sitting needs, and I highly recommended him!

Richard has taken care of our two dogs on multiple occasions. He befriended our timid dog and now she's excited when she sees him, even when she saw him at the groomer. Richard is thorough, taking notes on medication schedules, feeding portions and where our picky eaters like their food bowls placed. Richard kept us informed via text messages (with photos) during each visit including how our girls were eating, drinking and the necessary results of eating and drinking. Richard has a real heart for animals and is our go-to person when we are away from home.
