Rich is automatically every dog's best friend. He is some weird dog-whisperer, that one. My dog goes crazy whenever he comes in the room. He has this huge, grassy, fenced-in backyard where dogs can roll in the lushness and come in and out of the house at will with their own doggie-door. He's up early, and late at night, so there's always a comfortable presence available.
