Offering peace of mind for all your walking and sitting needs. I have been around animals for the entirety of my life, and have enjoyed the company of each one that I meet. Working as an adoption specialist for Best Friend’s Lifesaving Center has allowed me to enrich my community in ways that have proved extremely rewarding. Interacting one-on-one with the dogs (and cats, alike) by getting to know their various personalities is a talent in which I take great pride. I wouldn’t trust just anyone to look after my own pets, which is why I set high personal standards for myself in conducting business around the loved ones of others. My schedule is always flexible so that I can be there for you and your fur babies whenever I am needed.

I have two little dogs who are the great loves of my life. It’s always high anxiety for me when I have to leave them and my home in the care of others. But I felt reassured from my first contact with Richard and after meeting him I felt confident that my home and “my girls” would be in good hands while I had to be away. He did not disappoint. Richard kept me informed with texts and even pictures and videos while I was gone. Total comfortability is important to me as a sitter. If your pet has a routine schedule of walkings and feedings, I ensure to provide these necessities as they would normally occur in the home. Overnight stays are always welcome as I know that traditional boarding is not a viable option for all.

I do require meet and greets with all bookings prior to sitting, to ensure that I am good fit for your pets and vice versa. While I have no preferences in breed or size, I do expect complete transparency in each pet’s behavior and personality. Are there any quirks that I should be aware of? Any specific motions/actions/activities to avoid?
A typical day
Going for a ride to the walking trails are always a favorite, as exercise and and adventure go hand in hand. If your pet is a little less active or if you would prefer us to stay at the house, I also consider myself an aficionado of nap-time snuggles on the couch. I have an impeccable driving record and welcome transportation services when needed, including vet and grooming appointments.

Availability
I work full time at the Village Vets’ Westside location, which is only a 15 minute drive from my residence in Smyrna. Lunch hour potty breaks are never an issue for those within a 10 mile radius. This being said, I naturally allow for a more enriching experience on my days off when more quality time is allotted.
