Pet care experience
I am retired and am working out of my home. Because of this, there will always be someone here with your furry loved one. I have been a dog lover for most of my life. I have owned several different types of dogs including: American Bulldog, Doberman Pincher, Standard Poodle, Toy Poodle, Irish Setter, German Shorthair, and currently a Yellow Labrador. I have taken a dog training class and all of my dogs have been taught obedience. I have been exposed to many different types of dog personalities and even the toughest dogs have taken to me and will allow me to pet them.

Richard really cares about and loves dogs. I think he takes care of any dogs that are with him just like they are his own. He will spend plenty of time with your dogs. He treats them like guests in his home.

when people say dog person I immediately think of him. When I think of a dog person I imagine that these type of people take care of their dogs like its there own flesh and blood. It takes a lot of love and time and patience to own a dog. He loves dogs, all dogs in general. This is a very simple task for him. He has amazing patience which is why he would be perfect for this job. I believe this job would be a great job for him because you do best when it's something you enjoy doing. This is what he enjoys doing for sure. I would definitely leave my babies with him and feel safe.
Richard is very good with dogs. He does not only consider them as pets but as family. He is very patient and loving with any animal that has ever came into his life. He enjoys the time playing & walking dogs.

Because we have a dog of our own living here it is important to know if your dog is socialized with other dogs. Our dog, Harley gets along with other dogs very well. Does your dog like affection? Is your dog potty trained and how does it let you know when it needs to go out? What types of activites does your dog enjoy? Is your dog trained to walk on a leash and does it enjoy walks? What kind of feeding schedule is your dog on and is it obessive about its own food? Can your dog have healthy treats during the day? Does your dog have any allergies? Does your dog have certain times of the day that it usually rests?
A typical day
I have a fenced in back yard where there is plenty of room to run around. I will play with your dog in the back yard several times per day and make sure they get plenty of interaction and one on one time. My dog Harley, the yellow lab in the photos, is very sociable and would enjoy having a buddy to play with. We can take walks as weather permits around the neighborhood or play inside with indoor appropriate toys. My fiance, Jane will also be here on the days that she does not work her full time job. Jane has always had a dog in her life and treats them like they are one of her own children. On the days that she is here she will participate in the supervision, care, and play time that you and your fur baby expect.
