Pet care experience
I grew up always having a dog. Truly grateful for the ability to have. We kept the tradition going until recently. I can honestly say my dogs were my best friends growing up. Not that I didn’t have great friends but the friendship of a dog is different. It’s truly remarkable in all facets; from the excitement to see you at all times and loving cuddle is an amazing feeling. Also, when that same dog knows that something is on your mind or you are upset and comes to you with a kiss or cuddle is truly a wonderful experience. There is no animal like a dog. They are much more than pets as they become family. As I mentioned I grew up with dogs. I plan on keeping that tradition for my son. My first true experience caring for a dog began with my first job as a paper boy at 10-11yrs old. Smokey, who grew up with me and was a trooper that survived a car accident when I was too young to remember. I do know now that the person who hit Smokey by accident paid for all his medical bills. That is a blessing in itself. Anyways, Smokey would walk by my side delivering the papers in the early morning darkness protecting me because it was dark. Lol. Then as he became really old, dog yrs 100s, I started protecting and caring for all his needs and it continued from their on out. Until he passed on and went to heaven as all dogs go to heaven we know. My experiences with Smokey led me to volunteer at the MSPCA. Where I adopted my next not one but two new friends Nikki and Griffey. While at the MSPCA My friend and I fed, administered meds, walked, bathed, cleaned up, prepped for medical treatments, said goodbye to friends as they were adopted always giving the inside information about their likes and dislikes. it was an amazing experience almost leading me to be a Veterinarian but athletics directed me Northeastern University for Football, Physical Therapy and Business then a masters Public Policy. I have to say it was hard not bringing each puppy and dog home but seeing many get adopted was such a heartwarming sight. Having a dog or pet in general brings much happiness and is scientifically proven to be beneficial to one's health. Nevertheless, it’s not all easy. Caring for another, that was not yours at first takes patience, instills responsibility, builds empathy, and forms a connection/unconditional love that has created memories to which will last with me for eternity. When I had to travel or had to be away from my dog I would not just trust anyone. I picked those who I knew had kind hearts or witnessed them caring for another. I understand how important it is if you place your trust in me and accept the responsibility and plan to deliver the absolute best care possible. Your dog, will be welcomed into my home as family and treated with the needs they require, requests you may have and most importantly all the love we have to offer as a family. One thing I know for a fact is love is worth more than anything else on this planet. I know I wrote an essay above but in the end if you are to choose a new sitter or are looking for someone to watch your loved one. I feel you should know more than just a few words about the company your dog will keep. Hope to meet your loved one. Wish you happiness and health; true wealth,

5 Stars… Richard was the absolute best from the initial conversation to the meet and greet to the boarding and pick up. He communicated the entire time I was gone, took picture updates, was super accommodating, and made sure she was active. I can tell she was well loved by Richard and Ollie. She has been trying to get in the car every morning since I picked her up (which she never does) so I know she loved her time with them and wants to go back. Will definitely be rehiring repeatedly!!!
Richard was wonderful. He sent me updates and pictures regularly. I really appreciated his communication throughout my dogs stay. I would book again
Took great care of Frank! Awesome communication and overall very good experience
Took great care of my pup! Gave him meds and sent lots of photos and updates. Always quick to respond, experienced, and accommodating.

Information Richard B. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know everything that may concern you or that perhaps you want to work on as an exercise. I have trained several dogs and wouldn’t mind helping if you’d like me to. Finally, like stated before It’s better to know more rather than less. Likes/Dislikes Times to eat / Drink Diet Etc *I can administer injected medications but I’d prefer not unless you are unable and it is necessary. It’s like cutting a dogs nails, I can do it but it’s not my favorite.
A typical day
One of those dog park mentioned is less than 100yds from me. We have all types of toys and balls. We can walk or even play a round of 18 on the golf course and with a permission slip signed maybe a trip over to Ulmstead State Park. The possibilities are endless. I am able to train dogs. I’ve trained several breeds. From a Pomeranian to German Shepherds. No dog is too much... the key is gaining trust first and then using the best trading method for that dog in the scenario such as age, breed, etc

I am blessed to have a lot of freedom with my work. That allows me to be around my dog and any visiting/staying for many outdoor breaks
