Dogs, I've always had dogs. A golden retriever called Ben, two bullmastiffs (Meg & Bess), a gun dog called Oscar and finally, Penny, a Black Lab, the love of my life! My wife has also had dogs throughout her childhood including German Shepherds/Alsatians... not sure what we call them these days... London hasn't really allowed us the doggy privilege. My work has always been flat out, and we do like to travel, so have always found the prospect of a dog a little too demanding. It does, however, leave a doggy shaped hole in our lives, and a noticeable hole it is too. We love dogs, thankfully our family and friends still allow us some doggy time. The dogs in our profile pic are: Freddie the Alaskan Malamute, (my sister-in-law's dog) Buddy- Cockapoo (our friend's dog) and Pippa- Cavapoo, my Mum's dog, and trust me, they all love us. More recently, I have started my own recruitment consultancy, and am working from home most days (with some trips into town). We live in a second storey flat with no garden, but plenty of room, and we are very close to all the parks Ealing and Hanwell have to offer (Bunny, Walpole, Lamas etc.) We also have an allotment at Northfields, which is dog friendly, and we sure could use a hand with the digging! We also need to be honest, if your dog does not like pubs, he/she will not like us. We enjoy a few jars in moderation, and we only really frequent those pubs that would be accepting of pooches, so your pride and joy would be in good hands. Hopefully we look like responsible adults in our pics, but if you would like to arrange to meet up with us before you entrust your four-legged friend to us, we would be happy to meet up.
