Rich had no problem bonding with both of my dogs, and seems to draw the attention of friend's pets whenever he's around. You can tell he loves interacting with them, especially when he talks to them... and surprisingly, they seem to understand.

Warm home with pals for ur pooch

All my life, I have been an animal lover and throughout my life, have enjoyed the companionship of 4 dogs (2, currently), a Maine Coon, Chinchillas and their babies, various reptiles and amphibians, rabbits, parakeets, and so-on.
Friends and family will tell you I have a unique connection with animals I encounter... Not saying I'm some sort of pet psychic or anything - more like a "pet whisperer".
Every dog has their own personality, so my ...

When your dog stays with Rich

Walking your dog:
Usually, it's easy to gauge if/when the dog has had a sufficient walk. If you like to take them for runs, let me know and I can plan to do the same. If "Max" will only go to the bathroom at a certain street corner or park, I guarantee to give them the same treatment they are used to.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement:
...Are completely up to you. If your pup is used to sleeping in a crate, I will stick to doing so. If you don't mind them on the bed/furniture at home, they will be welcome to sleep wherever they like.

Time I'll spend with your dog:
If hosting the dog in my own home, they will receive almost constant attention. I am working from home currently, and only usually need to leave the house for a couple hours at a time at most. If your dog(s) stay at your home, I would make sure they had at least a few visits a day and plenty play time while I'm there.

With a couple of public parks, and a designated dog park, all within a 5-minute walk, or less, you can be assured your pooch(es) will be walked as long, and as frequently as they need.
I feel like I've got a decent understanding of our furry friends, and I have pretty strong intuition as to what they want or need. I also feel like animals respond very well to me, and I instinctively know how to handle them.
Despite the size of the animal, physical/aggressive discipline is not an option in my mind. I would never take the chance of hurting any animal - I'll find a way to make my point without causing any physical or emotional stress on the animal. I am always flexible, though, and will do my best to provide the same atmosphere they are used to, unless otherwise requested.
I've also had experience, as I mentioned, with emergency care of different sorts, and would be comfortable with any special care required.
