Accepting any dog previously cleared for day care at In The Dog House or Cannon Valley Vet (temperament check). The World Health Organization has announced that dogs cannot contract Covid-19. Dogs previously held in quarantine can now be released. To be clear, WHO let the dogs out. Previous "paused" status follows: Work from home grown-up new-ish to Rover. Over the past 12 years in Northfield I've had 3 long-term dogs and fostered a half dozen for Last Hope Rescue. Current dog is a lovely foster-failed terrier/amstaff mix, the brown&white pictured, so your dog needs to be compatible. Two dog-friendly children aged 7 and 12 are here 50% of the time. In general, I will be looking to host when the kids are *not* here; ideally not overlapping with kids until I know the dog(s). I am home, telecommuting, 90% of the time. Securely fenced quarter-acre yard, lots of attention. Not looking to make substantial money from this, just hang out with your dog(s) on occasion. Have bike and car, will travel within reasonable radius of downtown Northfield or host here. Safe fenced 1/4 acre yard. Not interested in taking on the responsibility of juggling dogs who don't know each other but if you have multiple pooch friends, I'll take the whole crew. Have experience with puppies, elderly/sick, and curmudgeonly dogs.
