Information Rich A. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about basic behavioral characteristics? Does he/she show aggressiveness, nip, bark a lot, etc. What 'commands' does he/she understand? Does a dog socialize well with other small dogs, big, dogs, dogs of opposite sex, etc. Medical - restrictions, allergies, treat preferences, and will there be any meds to administer? Do you crate your dog/s, are they allowed on furniture, in bed? Does he or she have any triggers - squirrels, chase cars, fear of loud noise, etc.
A typical day
Per client's preferences - dogs parks, walking parks, woodland trails, and the beach. Dogs in my care will play fetch, chase, tug-of-war, swim, explore, spend 10 to 15 mins on focused training (sit, stay, lay down, leave/drop it, etc) and socialize with other dogs and people.

Pet care experience
My name is Kemba, Rover may list me as Rich A, but clients know me simply as someone who provides premium, discreet, and deeply attentive private pet and home care. Animals have been part of my life since I was six or seven, growing up between Africa and Asia surrounded by dogs and all kinds of wildlife. I later spent over nine years working at a zoo, which shaped my respect for animal behavior, safety, and individualized care. Today, I spend much of my time in the woods hiking and swimming with our almost 16 year-old chocolate Lab, Brownie. I bring over two decades of hands-on experience in dog sitting, fostering puppies, dog walking, doggy day care, and basic behavior support. I understand how difficult it can be to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and discreet—someone who treats your pets and your home with the same respect as their own. Partially “retired,” I now focus my time and flexibility on this passion. My services cater to high-end, confidential in-home care but I can also provide on-demand walks and drop-in visits most days. I follow your instructions exactly, while also using judgment, experience, and common sense to ensure each pet’s comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. Every dog, every home, and every family is unique—and I tailor my care accordingly. For photos of the facility, testimonials, and additional information, visit Casa De Canine on Facebook.
Reviews

Thank you for walking my pup with such short notice.

Does a great job

Did great with him

I’m pleased with Rich’s services. My dog can be reactive and loud and Rich seemed unfazed by this, which made me feel at ease and like my dog was in good hands. Rich was also on time and sent me photos and videos of the walk.
