Dogs happy

I booked Ricardo for a house sitting service. At first he said he only did drop in visits even though he accepted a house sitting service. We were ok with that and he told him that was fine as long as he came in every 6-8 hours to let the dogs out to use the restroom. He said that was fine. First day was great, he sent pictures and everything. Second day in the morning he didn’t update but I didn’t think much of it. Until we saw through our ring camera that the front door was being shaken by our dogs. I messaged Ricardo and he tells me he hadn’t been able to go in the morning and he wouldn’t be able to go until he got out of work at 5pm. Last time he had gone was about 9pm the previous night.it was already 4:30pm when he told me this. That’s about 20 hours without my dogs using the restroom. If he had messaged us in the morning we could’ve made arrangements with someone else so that my dogs could use the restroom. But he was just not going to say anything. We immediately canceled the reservation and we booked someone else who was there with them within 10 minutes. It ended up being very pricey because it was New Year’s Eve and very few people were available. When we got home the door had scratch marks all over it from our dogs trying to get out.
