A Peaceful Retreat for Your Pup!
Pet care experience
I will show genuine affection for your dog, that I believe they feel and understand. Buddy and I truly look forward to "visit" days when we have guests! Your dog will enjoy a very large fenced yard (4 ft chain link) that backs up to open space. While I do have a cat, she is 20 and keeps to herself (mainly) in my bedroom and will not interact with your dog. If your dog would enjoy the interaction, my dog (bulldog mix) Buddy loves to share his toys and play with dogs of every size and age. I have a very large dog run (6 foot fence) with a doggy door into the garage for pups who prefer more privacy. The outdoor kennel also allows for large and small dogs to play separately for day care. There is an indoor doggy play room for bad weather days and where overnight guests spend the night. I have trained 2 dogs for agility competition, and have several pieces of agility equipment. I have also trained several dogs to be "good citizens" and many fun tricks. I would enjoy working with you and your pup on training for a small additional fee. I have water fun available on hot days. Plenty of shade in the yard and places to nap under a covered patio. For overnight guests, a morning walk around the lake is always something to look forward to! I understand how much our furry friends mean to us, while in my care they are treated as my own. Lots of love and play can be found here!! Rhonda was great and very accommodating. My dog Watson can be a bit of a handful at times and Rhonda had me come over prior to the start of my boarding to make sure he would get along with the other dogs that would be staying, which was a great relief as he seemed to have a blast with the large yard and the other dogs. She has a great space for them to stay while there and was great at communicating with me during the stay. Would highly recommend Rhonda to any prospective owners looking to board their pets!

Rhonda was so lovely with our dog. She was so easy to work with and I can tell she is really in tune with what the dogs’ needs. She was quick to make plans with and my dog really enjoyed the time with Rhonda!

All dogs are fed separately. I rotate time inside and outside, with a mind to the weather and it's impact on guests. We have official nap times to ensure proper rest. I tuck them in with a song at night when I turn off the lights! :-)

Is your dog (potty) trained? Is your dog leash trained? How does your dog interact with other dogs (on and off the trail)? Is your dog prone to chewing/destructive behavior? Anxiety issues? I have a 4 foot chain link fence, if your dog is prone to jumping I may not be a good fit for you. If your dog requires a shock collar, I may not be a good fit for you. A typical day
PLAY, PLAY, PLAY!! Our large yard allows so much freedom for your pup. We play fetch and tuggie games and treat hunts around the yard. Our guests really enjoy the freedom of just roaming around the yard, chewing on the occasional stick!

I work part time from home, only going into the office once a week. I'm available for drop off and pick ups after 2pm on weekdays please.
