Hi I’m Rhonda with Hugs & Kisses Pet Retreat I have a passion for ALL animals! Over the years I have owned, loved and cared for the smallest Yorkie to the extra large English Mastiff in addition to my American Paint Horse mare and filly. Pet care is my profession and my goal is to meet our clients needs while providing a safe, loving and fun experience for your beloved pet. We are conveniently located in Central Pennsylvania. Camp Hill is less than 2 miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, 6 miles from Harrisburg and 15 miles from Harrisburg International Airport. Approximately 20 minutes from Hershey, and 40 minutes from Carlisle. Just a little bit about me: I LOVE animals of all types and it's just that simple! I am a native Pennsylvanian, I have lived here my entire life. I was raised with animals from the day I was born. I have never lived without multiple pets in my life. Our philosophy at Hugs & Kisses Pet Retreat is: “Your pet deserves a fun vacation too!” We currently share our home with 2 amazing English Bulldogs and an adorable Goldendoodle. Our home, is VERY pet friendly, and includes over 2 acres where we enjoy unlimited playtime and walks. In the very near future we will have a separate fully enclosed portion of our property that is specifically for our guests. I want to assure you that if you trust your precious baby with us, they will be treated just like they are ours; spoiled with lots of love and attention! Their safety & comfort is always the most important when they stay at our home. Whenever we aren’t going on walks or playing, your pet will have the freedom to relax wherever they want, cuddle with us and enjoy treats at your discretion. Your pet is treated just like one of our own beloved pets. They take walks, play, lazy about our large yard and sleep in our bedroom. Sometimes a pet might take longer to adjust to the new environment, if so, we can provide a separate room in our home to give your pup a quiet, comfortable place to relax when they need to. For our fur friends with special diets or medical needs, we strictly adhere to their requirements. I frequently send pictures and videos via text messaging or email. I also love to post them on my FB page and Dogvacay profile, with their parents permission. Please note: We will not accept dogs that are not current on their vaccinations. In addition, we require that all visiting dogs be on a monthly flea/tick treatment program. These policies protect your dog, our dogs, and other guests' dogs. We look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members. We highly encourage "Meet and Greets" to insure you and your pets comfort level with where they will be vacationing.
