I grew up on a farm caring for cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, and many many working dogs (border collies) and their pups. I have therefore been exposed to animals from a very young age, and am comfortable with all creatures as a result. I have had many pets since, from cats and dogs, to lizards and invertebrates, and everything in between. I currently share my home with two outdoor cats called Mischa and Smudge (that are not aggressive towards dogs whatsoever), a fish tank, two giant African millipedes, a tank of stick insects, and my beloved leopard tortoise called Ashoka. I am now a proffesional Marine Biologist, and regularly care for and handle animals in the context of my work. This has included obscure animals like cuttlefish, to giant 240kg aggressive grey seals. I am also a huge outdoorsman, and have some beautiful and rugged swathes of forestry behind my house, so long walks come as standard if your dog is up for it. But always happy to watch them potter around the garden or go for smaller walks if your dog is older or has any health complications. Ultimately, I am totally comfortable with animals, and can be trusted to understand their needs and cater for them compassionately. I hope to meet your pooch soon :)
