Animals have played a very vital role in my life since I was a child. My first dog was named Prince - he was a white German Shepherd and was my best friend for years. You would often find me napping under the kitchen table with him (because the floor was the coolest place in the world to be a with a dog - of course!) or laying on him in the yard while I read a book.
