Hey I’m Rhia from the UK and I’ve been living in Canada for about 4years. I am a cat and dog lover and have always had my own pets or cared for friends and family pets. I’ve done dog walking services in New Zealand and have been a house & pet sitter for periods of 1-3 weeks. I am mature and responsible, I have many years experience as a professional cleaner and would be a great candidate to look after your home and pets while you’re away.

Rhiannon is an awesome dog lover and I trust her completely to provide care for any animal. She has helped me multiple times with Buster and Lassie (my dogs). She has great knowledge in ensuring the dogs behaves themselves, but also makes sure they get lots of cuddles and love. I would happily leave Buster and Lassie in Rhia's care, knowing he would be happy and they would both enjoy their time together! Lassie being a very old dog would need a bit of extra TLC which Rhia was always more than happy to accommodate. Buster is about 2 years old and would always enjoy his walks with Rhia, he scored her a 10/10 for stick throwing.

I am a active person so more than happy to take your dog on long walks and even hikes if you are comfortable with that. I know how much animals can be stressed out without their owners and aim to provide comfort and keep to their usual routine.

I have no breed preferences but I would like advance notice if your dog is reactive with other animals so I can plan exercise accordingly
A typical day
I won’t be having dogs stay with me unfortunately but while staying with your dog in their home I can offer a lot of great walks and playing with their favourite toys. Also if you want me to practice any training and tricks I’m happy to give it a go. Also if your animals have simple medical needs I’m okay with that. I can usually manage to get them to swallow pills when needed although cats can be tricky.

From the end of July I will be available full time for house & pet sitting. I will be working part time remotely but am willing to travel anywhere within BC.
