Hey, I’m Renick! I love all animals. I call the Swannanoa valley home these days. I once lived in Costa Rica for several years where I cared for a rambunctious terrier puppy until I found him a home at the beach. I also unexpectedly took in an abandoned adult chihuahua for a couple months until I could find him a loving home in the city. I've cared for friends and family pets many times over the years and have done longer (2 weeks) overnight pet sits. I believe working with animals and being a dog walker & pet sitter is both a gift and a serious responsibility. I am fully insured and bonded by Pet Care Insurance. I'd love to help care for your furry friend and I promise to give it an abundance of love! I also enjoy taking dogs for adventure walks and exploring parks or trails on leash if that’s something you and your dog are open to.

Renick did a great job of watching our pup and our home while we spent the weekend away. Great communication, lots of photos, and the dog loved him! Couldn’t have asked for an easier experience.
Renick was very attentive to our cats and he treated our home with respect. We felt that he really enjoyed our pets and that gave us a very positive feeling about his care of our kitties.
Renick has a great, calm vibe and our boys immediately took to him. Our terrier usually takes a while to warm up and especially doesn't like men, but within 5 minutes of meeting Renick he was comfortable with him and lying against him - that says a lot about the type of person Renick is. I felt comfortable that our 2 pups were in capable, caring hands while we were away for a long weekend. We were sent updates and photos each day. We will definitely hire Renick again!
My dogs loved Renick! The pictures he sent during the drops in were precious. I could tell he was loving on my dogs and giving them lots of attention. I felt comfortable being away knowing that were so well cared for. Looking forward to booking again!

I only allow outdoor pets to play in a fenced yard unleashed unless otherwise stated. I love to give rubs and attention, play with toys, and feed your pet on their normal schedule.

A typical day
With pups, I love to go for walks around the neighborhood or at nearby parks. If you have cats, I enjoy giving attention to play with toys like feather ropes or balls.

Availability
I have flexible availability in the mornings and afternoons for walks and drop-ins. Weekends can be variable depending on my schedule. For overnight sitting, I view requests on an individual basis but I am generally available if my calendar is open.
