I've been a dog owner all my life and understand all types of dog's behaviors and needs. I believe there are no bad dogs just bored dogs behaving badly. By providing a regular routine of playful exercise every 4-6 hours I can guarantee your hound will be happy and content while you're away. When possible I will take active dogs on long hikes, pairing up compatible pups for extra play time. Every activity will include practicing basic commands and good manners. Their water bowls will be full and fresh and I will follow the feeding guidelines to the tee. I have no children and enjoy spending my time keeping canines, cats and critters comforted while their owners are away. You will receive professional pet care from me for your furry family.

Renee and her crew are all absolutely wonderful with our two sweet wiener dogs, who are not really built for a life in the snow. However, Renee and her crew happily entice them out and the dogs love them. Our days are made so much more relaxing when we know that Otis and Emmy are happily walking and getting loving attention from Renee or Zac.
Hiking Hounds and the owner, Renee, helped take care of our dog over 5 years. We have a very enthusiastic dog who needs to run and run. Renee would take him on weekly walks with other dogs on trails near our home and he was always delighted to see her come to the door and he'd return ready for a nap! He had so much fun. Renee was extremely reliable and we felt safe and sound when we'd leave for vacation and have her take our dog on 3 walks a day and feed him and our cats in the AM and PM. Renee was a friend to our dog and to us!
After observing Renee with mine, hers and other dogs, I realized that her ability to relate to a dog is surpassed by none. Renee immediately and innately sets a rapport that dogs "get". In my experience, with Renee as a pet sitter and caregiver, I would trust her to the moon and back with my most beloved pet.
