Pet care experience
We have almost 3 years of experience in caring and training dogs; everything from 3lb Chihuahuas to 100 German Shepherds. My husband and I work as a team ensuring that someone is always home with your dog. We live on 4 acres with a fenced yard and large outdoor kennel for stimulation and fun. We are able to provide everything from basic care to catering to specialized needs. Depending on the individual dog, we can do everything from hiking trips, to fetch, to just hanging out sunbathing. We are both trained in first aid so we know what to do if a situation ever were to come up. So, why not let Roragen Ranch be the place you choose to take your pup on vacation!

It is so nice to know that we have someone to rely on to stop by when we're out of town, even just for the day. It allows us more freedom to participate in activities that we would normally not be able to do because of our older dog's need for potty breaks and medicine. Thanks, Renee! We had previously been able to use an in home boarding service for our older shih tzu while we were away; however, as she aged she became more and more anxious not being at home when we were away. We decided to try an in home pet sitter for our recent week long trip and found Renee on Rover. Renee cared for our dog, two indoor cats and 2 outdoor cats while we were away for a week. She stayed over night, made sure that twice daily meds were given, the dog was walked and everyone fed morning and night. Our home was in great shape on our return and everyone was happy. It was almost as if we never left! We really can't express how grateful we are to have found a reliable pet sitter. We will definitely hire Renee again on our next trip!

Anything you feel is necessary for us to know before dropping off your pup I'd love to hear. If I'm taking your dog out in to public I want to know things like if they are dog aggressive, shy of children, tall men etc, anything that might affect our outings so we can keep an eye out for it. We welcome all breeds of all sizes and all levels of training. We are not afraid of a dog that isn't the best on leash, we will take them all! For longer stays it is easier for us to watch dogs that are okay with young children, however this is flexible.
A typical day
We can do anything your dog might enjoy, from a trip to the dog park, a game of fetch, tug of war, or just some pets and loves while they wait for you to return. You name it, and we can provide it!
