I have worked with different types of dogs since I was little. Growing up my family had 3 dogs, a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix, a Dachshund mix, and a Golden Retriever. When I wasn't at school I would always be outside playing with them or taking them on walks. While in college, I volunteered at the local dog shelter where I would take the dogs on walks and take them outside to play. I also had a dog of my own, a Lab/Beagle mix. I adopted him from the shelter when he was about 9 weeks old, so I have experience working with young puppies. When my ex and I separated, it was in the best interest of the dog to stay with him. Fast forward to now, I currently have a 3 year old Pit/Australian Shepherd mix. He comes to work with me occasionally and he is a registered emotional support animal.
