Hi, my name is Renee. In addition to multiple decades of pet parenting, I worked in veterinary hospitals for seven years. I was mostly a hospital manager but learned much about pet healthcare and was often asked to jump in to assist the veterinarians, technicians, and boarding staff. Later, I became the director of a small animal shelter and helped with animal care there as well. I can give medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids and know how to spot potential health emergencies. I learned about pet behavior through my professional experiences and by completing training classes with my 10-year-old dog Zena. My philosophy of training is based on positive reinforcement, consistency, and compassionate leadership. In short, I am timely, responsible, and love interacting with animals.
