Pet care experience
I've been locally pet sitting since I was ten years old and have grown up with dogs though I do have experience with cats too. I've mainly been taking care of neighbor's dogs while they're away on business or vacation and am an experienced house sitter who provides light house cleaning (plant watering included) while taking care of everybody's favorite companions. Come May I will have an open schedule for summer sitting opportunities but as of right now I only have Sundays completely free but if you're in the Henrico area I have 12-3 available during the week if you need a walker. I walk, play, feed, water, and brush and am willing to work with any size and number of dogs, though I have more experience with larger dogs.

Renee stayed with our dog during several out of town trips. Renee's calm demeanor and love of animals makes her perfect for dog sitting. She is responsible and arrives on time. She played with the dog and kept him active. She stayed overnight and left our home tidy. She brought things with her to do so she could stay at the house and not just visit and leave. Our dog, Max, loved his time with Renee.

I would like to know the level of training (formal or informal) such as if they know any basic commands, their behavior around others (dogs, cats, people) especially while on walks, and general quirks your dog might have that I'd need to be aware of (nothing out of the ordinary I'd say). I don't have a breed preference, I'm comfortable with any dog so long as they're comfortable with me.
A typical day
I like taking dogs (especially my own) to parks for walks if there are any local to the area and depending upon the dog's level of off leash training I would also play with them in the park with frisbees, balls, or any number of rope toys. I generally play with dogs in more enclosed areas such as backyards or within the home, if permitted, to minimize the chance of them running away (just in case your dog is a bit of a free spirit).
