Pet care experience

Animals truly are my life! I learned to walk by holding onto the fur of my Border Collie and have never let go since. I have worked with rescue agencies in several states, including California, Utah, Colorado and Idaho, adopting, fostering, rehabilitating, training and placing dogs, cats and horses. I've written articles for national magazines on canine behavior, training and socialization. I formerly ran my own daycare, boarding and training business, Reining Cats and Dogs in Idaho. In 2009 I was forced to close my business while I attended extensive rehabilitation in Las Vegas after suffering a life threatening illness. My professional affiliations have included the International Association of Canine Professionals, the Pet Care Services Association, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator. In 2008, I was recognized for my efforts by the Humane Society of the United States, being invited to represent the state of Idaho at the Taking Action for Animals Conference in Washington, DC. In 2009 I was truly honored to receive the "American Red Cross Real Hero Award" for my efforts in Animal Rescue. If you are looking for someone with life-long experience to give your dog care, love, exercise and companionship, you have found it here!

When my spouse and I think of Renee it is nothing but a pleasant memory. We have been living in Idaho for eleven years and we still miss Renee. Our experience with Renee as our dog trainer was nothing but professional, curtious, loving and extremely knowledgeable on how to handle our animals. She was the best trainer we have ever had. She became an extended part of our family. We highly recommend her for any involvement in any capacity with animals. Our dogs are in need of her TLC, come back to Idaho Renee :)

Renee is AMAZING with dogs. When she was doing Move Mutt, she had many animals in her care, mostly dogs. My husband and I actually adopted one of her Austrlian Shepherds. The time, effort, and love that she puts into training, caring for, exercising, playing with dogs really shows. I cannot say enough good things about her and her commitment to ensuring your four legged baby is comfortable and we'll taken care of.

Information Renee C. would like to know about your pet

I love all dogs big and small. I have worked with everything from a 5 pound Teacup Poodle to a 170 pound Turkish Akbash. I do have a dog of my own, a 1 1/2 year old very happy, very social Australian Shepherd who is in training to become a Service Dog. Your dog will need to be non-aggressive, as my Service Dog is with me 24/7 during his intensive training program. Your dog won't be getting just the basics, but the added bonus of socialization with a very animal and people friendly dog. Your baby will also have the added bonus of working with a trainer with life-long animal caring and loving experience at no extra cost.

A typical day

There are 3 dog parks within 2 miles of my home. if you'd like your dog to socialize. I also like to go bicycling with very active dogs that need a good run. Hiking is one of my favorite activities and I love to have dogs along with me. If your dog likes water, I am happy to take them to the lake for wading in the water, swimming or even kayaking. I never exercise a dog in temperatures over 85 degrees (Unless we are going to the lake. I have a shade structure that can be set up right at the waters edge and your dog will always be wet and cool).
