Humans are better when they are sharing their life with a dog. I have had a dog for most of my life. I'm that person who stops to talk to any dog on my side --or the other side-- of the street. An eager, but sensitive dog person, I always let a dog lead the interaction. Having recently lost our Old English Sheepdog and taken on a job with long weekday hours, I can't justify having a dog full time right now. Weekends, school and summer vacations are wide open for dog care! Running, hiking, walking, talking with, hanging with, taking photos of, and playing with your dog when you have other commitments would make me ridiculously happy. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

We found Renee on Rover and she responded very promptly. We knew at our meet and greet that she and her family would take great care of our dog. They were warm and friendly and asked all the right questions! We were able to relax the whole evening knowing what great hands our pup was in. She sent photos and gave updates! Our dog was so comfortable there, and it was obvious he was getting the royal treatment. I know the next time we plan an overnight trip we’ll feel safe and sound with our dog at Renee’s.
Renee and family are awesome and our lady Chickee had a really wonderful overnight. This was our first time on Rover.com, and iour puppy’s first time staying with anyone but is or her dog sitter. It t could not have gone better, thanks to Renee, her cozy, warm home & calm, kind nature. They were super sweet and complimentary of Chickee, despite an early morning wake up for a pee break:) we hope to book time for Chickee to stay & play with Renee again on our next trip to Portland!
Renee is one of the most caring and thoughtful down walkers i’ve hired, she has no problems with any breeds, and can take directions and understands what’s best for the dog. I trust her anytime i leave town, for a day, or a week.
