We are comfortable with all dogs, but just like us, they all have their own quirks that make them unique. Please let us know of anything special your dogs enjoys, if they like being social or if they are more of a loner. Also let us know of any barking, house breaking, anxiety, or aggression issues. These are by no means a problem we just find it important to know ahead of time. We also find it important to try and keep them on their regular routine, this reduces confusion and anxiety and makes for a smoother transition for your dog.
A typical day
We are able to stay with your dogs most days as Matt works from home (except for Mondays & Wednesdays) and Renae has a 9-5. We are active people and spend a lot of time outdoors on walks, runs or just enjoying the city and love having friends with four paws join us. While you are away we'll make sure to send you daily updates and pictures so you can stay in the know of how they are doing. Extra house-sitting services I am willing to do small task while you are away to help keep your mind at ease, ie watering the plants, bringing in the mail etc.

About this sitter: Hello! We are Renae & Matt . We are in our mid-thirties, energetic, upbeat and love having dogs in our life. We both grew up with dogs in our home and as adults have been lucky enough to raise mastiffs, pitbulls, terriers, and bulldogs. We have 18 years of experience dog sitting and actively practice positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior while calmly establishing who is leading the pack. We specialize in large breeds, but love the little ones too! We are happy to administer any medications to your dog as needed, we just ask that you show us through your process and communicate any obstacles that may occur. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, and we look forward to meeting you and your dogs soon! **(Please note that our daycare option is to come to your home during the day and walk your pup(s) - our apartment building is not dog friendly."

Renae and Matt were the perfect people the leave our 8wk old blue heeler, Cali, with for the first time! It’s clear Cali was well looked after and happy with her new friends and for us it was great to have people look after her who were good with puppies, both respectful of the fact that she’s not yet fully vaccinated and staying in our home. They were also so kind as to send regular photos and updates so we knew Cali was happy as could be! Would 100% reach out to Renae and Matt to stay with our pup again!
Matt & Renae are simply stellar! They took care of our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks for whom the phrase "slow to warm" is usually an understatement. They won them over and communicated regularly with us providing peace of mind while traveling. If you want super smart, caring, compassionate people caring for your pets, these two are the best. You'll come home to happy, exercised dogs and a calm, clean home.
Renae was wonderful with our two Boston Terriers.
Renae watched our 2 German Shepherds for the weekend. She was fantastic! Updated us 2-3 times a day with photos and little recaps of how they did each day. Renae was able to give both of our dogs an oral liquid medication, and follow detailed partial raw feeding instructions including supplements. We did not ask her to walk them as we have a very large back yard and our younger guy is a little stir crazy from a recent leg injury. However Renae took on the challenge and was able to get them out each day for at least 40 min (Again WAY more than we asked for and is great low impact stimulation for the leg injury !!) We came home to a house that looked like it had been untouched, and 2 very comfortable happy dogs! I highly recommend Renae, and plan to book her again very soon!
