I am a 27 year old graduate student and have had dogs (primarily labs) my entire life! I am a Nashville native and have been dog sitting and walking in the area since I was a kid. I have experience with dogs and puppies of all ages and sizes, rescues, fosters, and households with cats. I specifically have a large amount of experience with puppie. I’m a very active individual and will make sure your pet is well loved on and exercised. It is important to me that you feel comfortable and assured that your four-legged family member is being well-taken care of when you are not around. My goal is to set your mind at ease while you are away and love your pet as if they were my own! I would love to have the chance to meet your most beloved furry family member.

Rena is a natural dog person! She has experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. She has watched a group of dogs in the country for weeks at a time- two tiny dogs and a German short haired pointer and all three sleep on the bed with her. She has watched an old dog and his protective, somewhat aggressive, younger protector buddy. She can work from home so it makes it easy for her to be there and spend time with dogs, not just letting them out and feed them. Overall I couldn’t think of a better person to trust with your pet!

I respect all rules while keeping your pet in your home. I will crate them while they sleep if you would like but am also happy for them to curl up in the bed with me if allowed. I will be at your house with your pet as much of the day as possible and do not like to leave dogs alone for extended periods of time—we don’t want a lonely pup!

A typical day
I live near the McCabe Greenway so we will go on lots of 3+ mile walks there. I am also less than 3 miles from both the 51st Ave dog park and Centennial dog park and would love to treat your pup to an outing if you are comfortable with it!

My class schedule gives me lots of flexibility during the day. I am never gone for more than 4 hours, and most days I can be home all day!
