I have owned and trained puppies and dogs for most of my life. I have potty trained, behaviorally trained, socialized, and loved on them and then loved on them some more. In the years I've spent with dogs, I've learned this, dogs crave rules, boundaries and to be part of a pack. They need a pack leader. That is the job of humans, at least that's what I've learned. They look to us to be their pack leader. I've learned to reward good behavior, like you would with your children. To redirect unwanted behavior and finally to give unconditional love all the time. Dogs want to please their human(s). They want to make us proud! Dogs are unbelievable creatures. Their senses are out of this world. The way they feel sadness, joy, etc... When we are feeling it. Not to mention the medical awareness they have instinctually that save lives. The point to my long, Cesar, the dog whisperer, sounding like, story, is that my home is a safe place for your dog. It is a home where your routine and day to day happenings with your four legged family member will not be changed or interfered with, but respected and upheld. I hope I get the opportunity and the privilege.
