I have been petsitting and walking dogs through Rover for more than a year, although I have petsitting experience from several years prior to that. I enjoy in-home petsitting because it allows me to really form a bond with your pet and your pet will be more relaxed staying in their own home. I also walk dogs and have several repeat clients. I would love to walk your dog while you work! My rates for petsitting are $30 per night for the first dog and $10 per night per additional dog. If you have a dog and a cat, my rate is $5 per night for cat(s) if I am already staying in your home. If you need a catsitter only, I do 30 minute drop-in visits to feed your cat, clean the litter box, and pet or play with the cat for $11. Dog walks are 30 minutes long and my rate is $11 per dog. My goal is to keep your pets safe and happy while I am with them! I am also happy to bring in your mail, water your plants, or do any other little things around the house to put your mind at ease while you are away. A little bit about me: I am in my late 20s, I have a master's degree in biology, but I am enjoying petsitting for now! I have a dog named Daisy who I love her to pieces. I also have a cat named Artemis who is an awesome, sweet cat who has been with me for over a decade. Daisy had two knee surgeries in 2015. After a lot of hard work, rehab, and slowly building back up to her old strength, she is fully recovered and able to run again! As you can see, my dog is my best friend and she is the most important being in the world to me. I know how scary it can be to have to entrust your dog's safety with someone else. My primary goal will be to keep your dog safe while having some fun and exercise.
