Pet care experience
As a recent college graduate, I now have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and I played an active role in training, walking, feeding and generally caring for my family pets. Outside of my family, friends and neighbors relied on me to keep their pets happy and healthy, whether it be for a single walk or for multiple weeks at a time. I have always loved dogs, especially when I am able to personally care for them, and I can’t wait to meet you and your pup!

Remi has been around dogs her whole life. Border Coliie’s specifically and those high energy dogs need a lot walking. Remi has often taken them with her on walks and runs as well as hikes in the mountains and knows how to look after them in hot and cold weather. Since Border Collies can often be a little weird or even unfriendly (to other dogs), she has experience making sure interactions with other dogs (and people) are handled correctly. Above all, she is careful, caring and thoughtful when working dogs.
Remi is a natural with pets and is very reliable and responsible. She understands that pets enjoy human interaction on many levels: company, exercise and reliable meal times. She has a deep respect for a pet’s personality and enjoys bringing it out when she visits. It’s hard to say who loves walking and hiking together, Remi or our dog. —Linda S

A typical day
I love to play stimulating games with your dog, like throwing the frisbee or ball. I often walk in Bluff Lake Nature center and Central Park, so I know all the best spots to walk your pup.

Availability
I am currently a physical therapy student in the DPT program at CU Anschutz, but I generally have free mornings between 7 and 10am and free evenings from 5-8pm. I love starting my day with a walk, so finding time to walk your pup in the morning easily fits into my daily routine. My daily class schedule is fairly variable, which means I have lots of flexibility to find a time for a dog walk that works for you.
