Pet care experience
I'm available Fridays after 6pm and any time on weekends, even early mornings! I hold a master's degree in psychology, and a fair amount of my classes focused on animal learning contingencies. So, if you need help either developing or keeping up a program to train your baby or teach them new tricks, I'd be more than happy to help! I also enjoy running, so your fluffy friend can come home exercised, happy, and in full on snuggle mode! I have a lot of love to give and want to learn about what activities your dog enjoys, and what they absolutely hate doing. I want to make sure your dog has a great time with me and that they receive the highest quality care! :)

I have a 3 year old Shiba and she's always been really shy so when I go on vacation I'm always very concerned about her feeling comfortable and not anxious without me and in an unfamiliar space, part of why I don't like leaving her at dog hotels because I feel like she needs a lot of careful and dedicated warming up, it's like leaving your baby behind!! But Reina was really kind and very attentive and when I got back they were getting along so well I was very pleased! Highly recommend (:
My chow chow Walnut isn't particularly friendly - he has a hard time adapting to new people but Reina handled him like a champ. He warmed up to her super fast. Dogs have different temperaments and she was very aware and very warm with him despite his initial hesitance. She's also a pleasure to coordinate with, super friendly and fun to chat with. Super smart so I'm confident trusting Walnut to her. 100% would recommend.

Reina is one of the best people you could ask to take care of your dogs! She absolutely loves all kinds of dogs and is a natural when it comes to caring for them. While I don't own a dog, I've seen how she handles hers and those that she meets, and they all end up absolutely loving her. On top of that, I know her to be a very responsible and caring person. She should be a great dog sitter, without a doubt.

A typical day
I can walk your dog through Central Park, Prospect Park, Washington Square, and anywhere in between or beyond. If there is a dog park your pooch loves I'm more than happy to take them there! I also am close to the beach, and so can take your dog to the boardwalk or to play in the sand!
