I’ve always been the girl who was obsessed with animals, getting upset when people squished even ants. Senior Dog Experience: My parents have a senior lab with arthritis and she requires many different medicines at all different times, as well as being lifted up and down stairs with a carrier harness. I also have to put shoes on her during the day because of the lack of friction she has on their hard wood. I’ve watched her alone for a week at a time. I trained her how to sit and shake as well. Smaller/Anxious Dog Experience: I am also comfortable watching smaller and more anxious dogs and am often able to get them out of their shells. I watched two Brussels Griffons who happened to have a lot of separation anxiety from dad. I watched them every Thursday for about 4 hours for around 3 months. Puppy Experience: I am also comfortable with hyper and reactive puppies. I puppy sat a four month old Goldendoodle for neighbors for around two weekends. Cat Experience: I completed check ins on a Rag-doll and Persian. This included feeding and cleaning litter, as well as coercing them into crates to take them to the vet! Occupational History: My most recent occupation has been teaching children from ages 4-13 musical theater and directing children’s theater.
