Pet care experience
Some people call me a dog whisperer, my friends know I just love all dogs more than the average human does. I've had dogs since I was young, all rescues (I've had/have a Chihuahua, German Shepard/Border Collie, Border Collie/Lab, Blue Nose Pitbull, and a few mutts). I've also been house/dog sitting while I'm in college, so about the last 3 years, and all my clients have asked me to come back multiple times. I guess what I feel sets me apart from anyone else here is that I will NEVER judge you (the owners) for things like: leaving me a novel on your animal's quirks or habits before you go, texting me very often asking for updates (I will send pictures of your babies to you throughout your trip with updates on how they're doing, unless you ask me not to), or requesting very specific routines of care (I've dog-sat for very old pups that require eggs and rice to be hand fed to them, for example). I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, or even to feel like they're not getting as much attention as you'd like, and I will always try my best to make it as easy as possible for you.

Reilly is, hands-down, your best choice for a dog sitter. In addition to treating her own three dogs like absolute royalty, Reilly treats all dogs like family. She does not discriminate based on breed, size, or energy level and has experience with dogs in all of these categories. Reilly is incredibly knowledgeable about caring for animals and will put the safety of your pets first! I have trusted her with my own 2 dogs multiple times and she has never let me down. I come home to happy, healthy pups every time. This makes leaving a bit easier, knowing that my dogs are in good hands! In general, Reilly is one of the most trustworthy and dedicated people I know and I can guarantee that leaving your fur babies in her hands is a choice you will not regret!

I love to know the quirks of your animals- where they're prone to hide out, strange noises they make that shouldn't alarm me, toys they love, treats they're allowed, places they like to be pet, etc. Also important is any medications they're on, what vet you go to, and if they're prone to become anxious and skip meals while you're gone. I've had experience with very small dogs and extremely big dogs, so breed preference is never an issue for me.
A typical day
For walks: I'm very partial to downtown Rockford, specifically the paths that go on the river, but I also frequent many of the nature parks throughout town (Aldeen all the way to Atwood). As for house sitting: I provide probably too much love and rubs, but can also tug-of-war or fetch with the best of them.
