I have always had dogs. From a small babe, there was always dogs in our home. My family loved dogs but I spent more time with them, playing, training, bonding, loving. I feel there is someone missing when I do not have my dog with me. Dogs of all kinds, no matter, they are loving beings that I adore. I have fostered and bottle fed puppies and kittens. I have pet sit for years back in NY and have great references from there. I have already sit for at least one family from word of mouth and it was a loving experience. I trained my own dog was also professionally trained as a therapy dog. We visited hospitals, nursing homes and children in special situations. My dog comes with me to the country where we hike in the high desert in arroyos, along mesas and follow wild life paths wherever we find them.

My friend Regina is a loving dog owner with whom my pooch and I took a cross country drive last year. Along the way, I heard stories about the pets in her life over the years and I also got to know her golden retriever Lily, one of the sweetest canines I've encountered. And you know how they say dogs and their people sometimes being of similar temperament? It is true of Lily and Regina. Regina is a beautiful, loving woman, who works hard; she loved my dog while we lived in the same community. Regina is completely trustworthy and I highly recommend her for anything, especially taking care of our beloved dogs! You can too!
Regina has sat for my pets many times here in New York. I was devastated when she moved, as I have a hard time trusting anyone with my animals (we haven't gone anywhere since she moved away). While my husband isn't so particular about who cares for the animals, he shares my wariness of having people in the house when we aren't home. Know that your pets will be cared for just as you would, and your home will be treated with equal care and respect. Regina has a kindness and gentleness about her that puts both animals and people at ease, and she has a genuine affection for animals of all kinds. If you are reading this and are considering hiring Regina to care for your dogs (or cats, birds, rabbits, chickens, etc.), I am very jealous because I want my pet/home sitter back.
