Hello there I have over 30 years experience caring for animals. My first experience was when in 4-H. I raised sheep, chicken, horses and helped train 3 service dogs. My volunteer experience was in Albuquerque, NM when my family and I would take in rescue puppies. We would bath, feed, care and train then for their future homes. All dogs were trained in all basics: sit, stay, come and of course potty trained whether older or puppies. All pets are great addition to everyone's family and leaving them alone is hard.
