Update: 7/27/23 I’ll be moving to Connecticut at the beginning of September. Thank you to everyone who’s let me watch their wonderful pets. Follow on Instagram for more photos: @elsaspals I’ve been watching cats for about 4 years now, 2 of those full time. I can’t say I’m a cat guru, but I do know how to interact with them! Cats are wonderful to be around weather they’re shy, cuddly or playful. Every cat is different some want all the attention, others just want to play, and a few prefer if I just fed and left them. I do my best to meet every cats needs and let the kitties set the pace for our interaction. I’ll never force a cat to do anything unless it medical related. I have lots of experience with kitties, adult cats and seniors. If anything unusual is happening I will let you know asap! I tend to be over detailed in my description of a visit and let owners decide if something is alarming or just normal for their pet. SMALL PETS/RODENTS I do have limited experience with rabbits, guinea pigs, and fish. I try to keep cages very clean, change water daily and provide fresh hay, pellets and greens. Every time I watch a small pet I learn something new!

Regan performed 2 visits with my cats. She took good care of them and sent detailed notes with pictures. I had her scheduled to sit for my cats on my wedding and honeymoon and she cancelled for the honeymoon dates on the week of. It was a stressful week, I was able to find a new sitter for both wedding and honeymoon. The last minute cancellation was very stressful and disappointing.
Regan is a superstar. If that’s not convincing enough, my cats love her too!
Regan is awesome! I’m pretty sure Phoebe likes being at Regan’s house even more than our house.

I’ll feed your kitty/kitties according to instructions. I always clean food and water bowls per day/meal. Any medicine need will be given. I scoop litter boxes once a day and bring poop bags to scoop into to prevent smell. Light sweeping, checking mail and watering plants are all things I do automatically.

Having an idea of a cat’s personality before the meet and greet would be great! This way I know how to conduct myself around kitty so it’s a positive interaction! If they require medication at a designated time please let me know, this way I can make sure to adjust my schedule to best fit the time in.
A typical day
I always try to get cats to engage in play and try to give lots of cuddles. If a cat is aloof or they have a long booking I like to bring food puzzles or toys they can play with independently to ward off boredom.

Availability
I take care of pets full time. I recently have had a baby, so my schedule now revolves are her care. I still give 100 an 10 percent to all pets. I’ll do my best to accommodate the times requested for visits but for the times that work best are 7am-3pm. Anytime after that my little intern has to come with me.
