Sabino Canyon Pampered Furbaby Care

Pet care experience

MILITARY DISCOUNT w/ VALID ID *** SPECIAL SUMMER INTRO RATE*** I provide a safe environment for your furbaby while you are away. Why pay kennel fee's to have your baby stay locked in a kennel 80% of the boarding time when you can have home care where your furbaby is kennel free, loved, played with, taken for multiple walks & free from kennel stress. Lots of one on one time & play time w/ out the noise & stress of 20 other dogs barking in adjoining kennels or play pens like you find in a boarding facility. I live in a very dog friendly community w/ lots of walking areas in a gated community. I offer doggie day care, it will be limited & not offered every day due to over night boarding scheduling. The hrs for day care will be flexible with drop off starting around 5 am & last pick up around midnight. If you work graveyard I am willing to take care of overnight as well. Please contact me for dates & times to see if I have the availability. All furbabies must have current shot record & not be aggressive to other dogs. As many of you may know canine flu is going around, so I encourage to PLEASE get the vaccine for it & PLEASE update Parvo shots. There has been a major increase in Parvo including dogs who have had full series of shots. All dogs MUST be spayed/neutered. No kennels used (unless you request it) only comfy dog beds for them. Lots of doggy toys to play with, healthy treats. I feed my pups Wellness grain free food brand & prefer that you bring your pups food with the pup so that upset tummy's don't happen from the sudden food change , however I am happy to provide Wellness for your pup as well if you choose not to bring their food. I also offer for ADDITIONAL FEE home cooked ground turkey or chicken w/rice/sweet potato/ peas/carrots meals for dogs. I make it weekly for my dogs, no preservatives, no chemicals & no fillers. I buy fresh meat, fresh veggies & fresh sweet potatoes or yams. I also feed Vita Fresh Bison, Beef, Spinach, Blueberries as a soft food for those w/ special need or have medications to take. I find that it is easier to get the pills into them by mixing them in the food. So if you have any dietary needs please make sure to let me know. I primarily take care of special needs dogs. ***Bonus time for my repeat clients, send a referral who books & completes a 4 day stay & you receive for the referral a 1 night stay free (up to $40.00 value) off your next stay of 4 or more days. Must mention your name at time of booking so that I may confirm you referred them to me & make sure you get credit for the referral. The new client booking will also receive a special code for a discount to be used once as a added bonus :) I truly value my clients & with out you my business would not be what it is. I love each of the furbabies you trust in my care so this is my THANK YOU for helping to make 2015 a great year for me & starting 2016 off even better for all of us.

Regan is a very animal caring person. I could sense that Danny enjoyed his stay with her. I would not hesitate to request that Regan look after Danny again.

Regan was great! I am new to town and when I had to take an unexpected trip quickly I didn't know what I would do with my two pups! Regan quickly got us in for a meet and greet and my dogs instantly felt at home with her, Snickers and Cooper. She sent pictures and updates the whole time I was gone and they seemed reluctant to come back home with me when I went to pick them up. I know my dogs are looking forward to my next trip out of town so they can go back to Regan's!

My dogs got along great with Regan's dogs. They enjoyed the many walks each day. When I came to pick them up Regan had brushed them and put their hair back up in the top knot. When I got the dogs home they were relaxed and calm. Regan is definitely a dog lover!

Luna had a great time with Regan and her 2 dogs. We were concerned because Luna has issues when we leave her alone, but the companionship of Snickers and Cooper kept her distracted during our absence. We would definitely have her stay with Regan again.

Information Regan B. would like to know about your pet

My clients dogs are of all sorts of breeds. Some small, med med & lg. I love dogs of all size, breeds & age. Since I was about age of 5 I have been the pied piper of dogs, they would just follow me home. As an adult I became involved in rescuing dogs & rehoming them. In 20011 I started a non profit rescue for abused & shelter dogs to help stop the needless killing of the outrageous number of dogs dumped in city shelters who are put to sleep w/ out ever getting the chance to find a loving home. I work to stop puppy mill, back yard breeder & animal abuse. I am not saying that every person who breeds at home is a back yard breeder so please do not take that wrong, I am referring to the ones locked in cages, no medical care, never touching grass, never knowing a kind hand or love just a breeding machine. We do however expect accidents to happen any time a furbaby is in a new place ..it happens & we keep puppy pads down for those accidents. I find it takes most dogs about 24 hrs to adjust to a new place, some much faster & some a little slower. I give them time & space to adjust at their pace so they don't feel pressured. They get some alone time when 1st arriving to adjust before my yorkies come out to play with them. We do walks together & walks with just the dog in care so they have alone time to decompress. We to try the dog park once in a while, I keep in touch with a group of dog park ppl & we share info on conditions of parks. Right now it is not optional time for most parks in Tucson for the following reasons, dog flu is going around, pink eye has been found in a dog recently & NOT all pet owners at the dog park can be trusted to ensure that they have provided all the shots their baby needs, So I find right now it is not a good time for visits to dog parks. In the fall we hope to resume dog park visits when not as much illness is floating in the air. Feel free to bring your pets fav toy, blanket, or dog bed to help them feel at home. Any special treats they like or special food you want them to eat. Please dont forget your pets medication(s) along with detailed instructions on how & when to be given. I do send pics...most dogs spend a large amount of time sleeping so expect lots of sleeping, half awake & if possible a few while on walks. I prefer the every other day option of pet photo's so you don't have to worry about your baby but also can enjoy time away & know they are safe. I do live in an apartment so for this reason I cannot accept dogs that bark excessively. This means at every noise they hear, every person that walks by the patio or front door. A bark every now & then is expected & not a problem. But I cant accept a dog that sits on back of couch or in front of patio door & just barks non stops over something as little as me taking the garbage out, checking the mail or running to the store for 30 mins. This has happened & unfortunately I was not able to accept the next request to sit the dog no matter how much I loved the little guy. Living in an apartment community we see lots of dogs/cats & ppl out daily so if they are aggressive towards other dogs or ppl ( landscapers, kids or wildlife) in general I will not be able to take care of your dog. I'm sorry but I cant risk being evicted or lose my privilege of being allowed to dog sit in my community. Thank you for understanding.

A typical day

For in home sitting I will come to your home 2 or 3 times per day depending on the schedule that you have your dog on. I will walk/ play with them. Make sure they have food & fresh water 2 x daily. I have a limit of 10 miles from my home for driving. I will consider sitting on a case by case outside of the 10 mile range but there will be a surcharge for gas. I will disclose that fee once the mileage has been determined & the number of visits required to the home.
