Pet care experience
Ever since getting my first puppy as a child, I have been an avid canine lover. For the last five years, I have been dog-sitting all kinds of dogs on and off for family members and friends. I work from home in the South End area in Charlotte and as I just moved after graduating from college, I do not have a puppy yet and would love to take care of yours! I understand that your pets are not just pets, but family. I love being active and exercising with pups as well as relaxing with them depending on their lifestyle. I am able to follow specific instructions if your dog requires special attention. Overall, my goal is to ensure that your dog is comfortable while you are away while assuring they have fun in the process! Get a one-hour lunch each day for dog walks, work from home and can be flexible and pay attention to your dog(s) while I work. There are a ton of great places to walk dogs in the south end area! I will make my home inviting and comfortable for your pet.

I give Reece Baker two paws up!! I recently had to go away for work and needed someone to watch over my dog Edward. Reece did a wonderful job at keeping my mind at ease. He sent me pictures randomly throughout the day, assuring me that Edward was being taken care of. My Edward doesn't get along with many dogs but him and Gracie hit it off right from the start. I will definitely be using Reece again!!

I do not have any breed preferences. I grew up around large dog breeds so this is what I am most comfortable with, but I have dog-sat for many smaller breeds in the past as well. I would like to know if your dog is house-trained and whether they have any traits like protectiveness or aggression so I know how to interact with them.
A typical day
I will go on walks around my neighborhood, at local dog parks if preferred, and all around south end. I love playing fetch, frisbee, and any other outdoor games with your pup. If you have certain things you know your dog enjoys, I will be glad to do these activities as well.
