Pet care experience
I have always loved animals. From a young age my dream was to be a Veterinarian. I am finally taking steps to get there at 32. I am currently enrolled in CATCH Canine Academy online learning to be a Professional Dog Trainer. It will be great to get hands-on experience because my current living situation does not allow pets of my own. I have trained two dogs in my life. One was my Dads dog and the other was my roommates. I will treat your fur babies like my own when they are in my care and use everything I am learning in my online dog training course to make sure they are safe and happy. I have also owned many cats in my life while growing up and am perfectly happy taking on cat sitting as well. :)

Rebekkah is great with my Mini Aussie, Pepper! I am confident in her skills and take comfort knowing my pup is feels happy and secure when in her care. At our meet & greet, Rebekkah asked lots of questions and took time to get to know us. Like many Aussie’s, Pepper can be guarded around new people or pets; but Rebekkah observed us and engaged with Pepper intuitively and with ease! She responds quickly to messages and is a great communicator. She is exceptional!
Rebekkah saved the day and last minute walked my sweet boy on Thanksgiving day! She was prompt, and sent me great photos on the walk. I will definitely consider her again for figure walks and care.
I have had only one other hired dog sitter for my current dogs and she did a terrible job. I came home to traumatized dogs, a yard that was a disaster and a messy house. I was a bit apprehensive of hiring somebody else but Rebekkah put my mind at easy with her maturity and professionalism and experience. She sent pictures and updates every day. I felt at ease while away. I got home to happy dogs, a clean yard and house. My husky is young and destroys things and digs when he is not walked. He was great! Thank you Rebekkah!! We will be using you again!!

I am very vigilant about making sure doors are closed and locked when staying at your home. I am a very clean and organized person so I will not leave your house a mess. I don't feed any dogs I sit human food and will stay consistent with your pooch when I am around them by making sure any house rules are followed. I also use a belt when walking dogs that I clip your dog into. The belt has a poop bag dispenser, treat pouch and three D-rings to connect dogs too. It makes my job so much easier!

Please let me know if your dog has special needs or is not comfortable around small children. I am at home with my 5 year old most of the day and may take her with me for walks if i need to. I have been teaching my daughter to respect dogs personal space and would like her to have experience around dogs too.
A typical day
The current dog training program I am doing has shown me how very important it is for dogs mental and physical needs to be met. This includes letting your dog sniff as much as they want while walking and playing fetch or tug if thats their thing. I have a green belt in my neighborhood as well as a local park. I also looove to go hiking and would love to take your fur baby along if they need more than around the block walks. I have a cooler in the back of my car with water and a selection of training treats. I have multiple collapsible water bowls that I can bring on hikes as well.

Availability
I am currently only working on Rover. My daughter will be in school from 8am until about 2-3pm starting the second week of August. I have a few regular dog walks M-F but have a few time slots im trying to fill. If you need an early morning walk (9-10am) or early afternoon walk (1-2pm) let me know! :)
