Caring for animals is more than a career, it is a passion. Pets are family and deserve to be treated as such! As a lifelong pet mom I have invaluable experience of caring for puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. As an adult I have cherished the lives of three dogs, of whom will forever be in my heart, and two senior kitties that are thriving despite being diagnosed with FIV. Amongst the many lessons they have taught me, I specifically was given the opportunity to work with professional animal behaviorists to help my rescue dogs cope with trauma induced behavioral issues. Behavior training led to a passion of caring for animals that continued into the veterinary field. As a veterinary assistant I was professionally trained to administer medication and CPR, as well as how to safely handle pets in distress.
