All dogs welcome! :)

Pet care experience

My husband and I both love dogs, and since we cannot have a dog of our own yet, gladly welcome the chance to pet-sit. We live in a 2 bedroom Cambridge apartment with a fenced backyard and access to a number of parks. Currently we pet-sit for a co-worker's Shiba Inu about 6x/year, and often care for my parents dogs while they are out of town. We both grew up with dogs so feel very comfortable with all breeds, and an added bonus is that my sister is a local veterinarian! Can't wait to meet your pet, and care for him/her as our own :)

Pippa had a fabulous stay with Rebekah. Pippa is a 5-month old puppy and Rebekah was very attentive to her needs and accommodated taking her out more frequently. She was a wonderful communicator and very easy and flexible to arrange with. While we were gone, Rebekah sent us videos and multiple adorable photos every day of Pippa's stay along with messages about Pippa's activities. It was clear from the communications and the visuals that Pippa was getting great care including lots of attention, exercise, and play time. We look forward to using Rebekah and her husband again. Pippa thanks you for taking such good care of her!

Rebekah was wonderful! From our first meet and greet, I could tell that she truly was an animal lover and cared about her doggie clients. My Boston Terrier Milly loved her instantly, and I could tell she was completely comfortable at Rebekah's place. I received daily updates and photos. Milly can be a finicky eater, and one of the days, she was extra sleepy and refusing to eat. Rebekah contacted me to let me know Milly wasn't feeling 100%, and to see if I had advice. She promptly went above and beyond and, per my advice, made Milly a special chicken and rice meal, and Milly was quickly back to her normal self. I highly recommend Rebekah for your pet sitting needs! She is courteous and professional and an all-around great dog sitter!

We had a wonderful experience with Rebekah. She was clear and communicative leading up to the stay, and then sent photos and updates to keep us in the loop on how Doodle was doing throughout the weekend. I would recommend Rebekah to anyone looking for a friendly, responsive, and reliable dog-sitter to care for their fur-babies!

There are too many great things to say about Fergus' stay with Rebekah. He had a blast, enjoying the same levels of love and exercise we give him at home. We got updates with adorable photos on a regular basis. Flexible, communicative, and a huge corgi fan - what more could puppy parents ask for? So happy we found her!

Information Rebekah R. would like to know about your pet

Here is the info I need to know about your pet: -Name -Age -Medications -Diet and any allergies -Routine, including # of walks and duration -Average noise level (barking habits) and sensitivity to noise (hearing the neighbors move around, occasional car noises etc) -Special needs -If he/she is good around other dogs (my family has a farm and 4 dogs, and sometimes it's nice to visit, particularly for longer stays) -Anything else you feel I should know!

A typical day

I try to adjust my dog-sitting style based on the dog I will be caring for. I pay close attention to the specifications of the owner, and am aware of each dog's personality. For example being conscious of animals that are shy, prone to anxiety, or have high energy demands. Things that I am always consistent on include: 1. Dogs will stay in our pet-friendly, large kitchen while my husband and I are both out of the house. 2. We do not allow large dogs (>25lbs) on the bed. 3. Exercise and outdoor time will be a combination of playing in the backyard, walks around the neighborhood, and local dog parks. *note: if there are particular parks or areas your dog enjoys within my walking range I am more than happy to accommodate their favorite 'stomping ground' 4. Dogs will not be fed human food/table scraps unless informed otherwise by owner. 5. I enforce training consistently- which will be discussed with each owner prior to a stay. 6. Every dog that stays with us will be very much loved and treated as our own! I have always loved and respected animals of all species. My dog-sitting style reflects that love and respect. I thank you for considering me, and please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or inquiries.
