I have always had a big heart for animals since a small child. I officially got my start in the animal care career 2 years ago in an animal hospital. I handled everything that came along with the animals boarding in the clinic as well as caring for the animals and assisting the veterinary technicians. After a about a year of being a animal care technician I begin to get a few shifts a week working as a vet tech and eventually moved up to full time. I got a lot of hands on experience and training during my time at this clinic. I learned the best ways to care for pets along with medicating pets, caring for geriatric and sick pets, emergency care, and general care like nail trims, bathing. I greatly enjoy working and caring for animals. I have recently stepped away from working in the animal hospital I was at to stay home with my children and focus more closely on school. My goal is to apply for vet school in 3 years. I am available only on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for 30 min drop ins or walks/runs. I like to stay active and love taking dogs on walks or runs if they can allow. I can feed, walk, play, medicate, bathe and just check in on your pet. If a pet needs special needs, like from recovering from a surgery I can also help with anything that needs to be done.
