Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs since I was 11 years old and love them all! Growing up, I had a Jack Russell Terrier named Corby and a sweet mutt named Chester, and my extended dog family was all the other dogs in my neighborhood. I started my pet care business at 11 and watched dogs/cats all the way through high school.

I have known Rebekah my whole life. She is an animal lover who has a gift for bonding with dogs. She has raised two male terriers from puppyhood to adulthood -- a Jack Russell and a mini German schnauzer. They were cute but aggressive and territorial. Rebekah taught them to relate to and play nice with people. And her gift extends to dogs of any age. Years ago, she became best friends with her fiance's nine-year-old mini German schnauzer. He had always been suspicious and guarded with new people, so her fiance was amazed at how quickly they bonded.

We live in a great, quiet neighborhood where Miles and I take lots of walks/runs. Miles and I spend lots of time at the dog park in Elon, an awesome dog park only a ten minute drive from home! Miles is everyone’s best friend and would love to keep your pup/kitty company! Our home is quiet (no kids) and my husband and I work from home. My husband grew up with Schnauzers, beagles and mutts of all kinds, and he loves animals as much as I do (although I am Miles’ favorite ;) ). *Unfortunately my husband has allergies and we aren’t able to host dogs unless they’re hypoallergenic. We can’t wait to meet your pups!

I love all breeds! It’s best to know if your pet has or has had any issues with aggression toward people or other dogs. It’s also helpful to know what specifically your dog needs/likes, any allergies or diet restrictions, and if he/she Is shy, outgoing, etc., in order to provide the best care possible while you are away!
A typical day
Walks/jogs, trips to the dog park, car rides, playing with toys inside, playing in the back yard, and of course, my dog Miles’ absolute favorite: belly rubs!

Availability
My husband and I are pet parents to Miles, our miniature schnauzer. Miles is very much a member of the family!—we have morning snuggles and playtime, then a walk, then another walk later in the day, more playtime, sometimes the dog park, and an evening walk. We also play in our fenced in backyard almost every day!
