IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: Please do NOT contact me to board your pet in my home if your pet is intact, unvaccinated or unsure/not good with other animals (cats AND dogs)!!! The liability risk due to aggression and disease is far too high for me to board such individuals in my home. I've owned many different pets including dogs, cats, rodents, rabbits, and ferrets over the past 12 years - young and older pets alike! I am a licensed veterinary technician here in Nevada and as such, I am able to provide services such as medicating furbabies that need medications and providing transport to the veterinarian if necessary. Some of my own pets are on medication, so making sure your furbaby gets any medication they need will be no problem at all! Some of my pets also have special dietary needs, so you can have complete confidence that if your pet needs the same, all needs will be met. I work full-time Wednesday through Saturday but am off Sunday through Tuesday. That being said, as my husband works opposite shifts than I do, someone is always at home. As far as drop-in visits go, I am able to make morning and evening visits any day, and midday visits Sunday through Tuesday, and Wednesday through Saturday on a case-by-case basis. I have a fenced yard with a locked gate and dogs and cats of my own to keep your furbaby entertained. I also have a seven-year-old daughter who adores animals with every fiber of her being and loves being involved in their care. I also have plenty of toys around the house for your pet to play with (if they have any kind of possession issues, I MUST KNOW BEFOREHAND). I also do allow pets on the furniture, so if this is something that you do not allow in your home, please let me know! :) I (Rebekah) work full time 4 days a week during the day while my husband (Matthew) works full time in the evenings. Because of this scheduling arrangement, someone is ALWAYS at home to look after your kiddo if boarding in our home. As far as drop-ins go, they will be performed at the time requested UNLESS they fall in a time range where I will be working. In those cases, visits will be either early in the morning and/or in the evening after work. For those furbabes that are staying in our home, we have a locked, fenced-in yard for outside times and baby gates set up to prevent habits like getting into litter boxes and such. I have 2 dogs of my own that play very well with others (though they are a bit obnoxious and bark at first). I also have extra kennels available if you say it's needed :) Pet care is already done two or more times daily due to me caring for my own pets. These include feeding, taking out to potty and cleaning cages (for my rodent pets). Medications are also given on a daily basis for chronic ailments. I have a small backyard that my three dogs are let out into multiple times per day. They are never left outside for more than 10 minutes, especially during the summer, and the yard is picked up and sprayed down daily. My own pets are fed two to three times per day, depending on the age and given medications as needed.
