Pet Care with a Loving Touch
Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Rebekah. If your pet is in need of a little love attention, and fun while you're away, I can help. I've petsit for cats, dogs for all sizes, fish, and more recently turtles as well as cared for my own elder and diabetic kitties including insulin injections with a tender touch. (That's her curled up on the couch behind me in the profile pic) I'm always open to learn if you have an animal not listed; exotics, elder pets, and medical needs are no problem Message me if you'd like to chat and see if I'm a match for your little ones.

Rebekah was amazing with our kitties. One of our babies ended up needing a lot more care, medication, and attention. Rebekah came up with creative solutions to comfort her. She so obviously loves animals and our babies are now totally in love with her too. She communicated with us throughout. I am so thankful for all that she did to help our kitties through a difficult time.
Rebekah did an excellent job taking care of Sophie our small Balinese cat for five days. The house was tidy and clean. The food and litter areas were well kept and Sophie was happy. She also brought in our mail and communicated very well with us. She even helped me with a photo of something I needed. We have booked her for future travel we have planned also!
After three years of being the sole caretaker for my 17yo diabetic cat, having to be home every hours to give vetsulin, I have found Rebekah. She's responsive, responsible, and great with my shy kitties. I am relieved to have found someone who meets my standards and I am confident in her total care of my kids.
I couldn’t be more impressed with Rebekah. She was able to seamlessly care for our diabetic baby with two injections a day, was able to bring out playfulness in her and with the other very wary cat. From the very first visit I was completely at ease the entire time I was away. She went above and beyond and I am so grateful!

I like to make sure that your pets have some fun and attention while you are away. What that means depends on your pet's unique needs (ie your dog is playful or enjoys an extra long walk, your cat likes to be called a "pretty kitty" before and after eating). Administering medical care is also no problem; I have cared for elder animals and diabetic cats before.
Information Rebekah M. would like to know about your pet
-Group rates are available for homes that need care for 4 or more animals. -Plant and light home care if available. -30-minute, 45-minute and 60-minute rates available so you have scheduling flexibility. -Car usage during the visit is not available. I use my car to visit your home, but not as part of the service. If your needs include things like driving to the park, my services are unfortunately not a fit.
A typical day
General Visit Routine for Cats: We all know each cat is unique (very unique!) so I adapt this general routine based on their needs. The visit starts with a greeting so they can sniff my scent and get some pets in. Then we move to any feeding requirements (because that's typically what they want first...lol). As the cat eats, I clean their litter and take care of any other needs (water, toy distribution). The remaining time in the visit is spent in playing or getting affection depending which your kitty prefers. At the end, we have about a small goodbye and final round of affection (and treats if they are allowed) so that the end of the visit is good experience. General Visit Routine for Dogs Everyone has unique needs for dog-sitting and dog-walking so I create a routine for our visits based on their needs Generally speaking, the visit starts with a greeting. For lower-energy dogs this is often accompanied with some affection. For more excitable types, the greeting is calm and we move right into the walk or release into your yard (whichever is your situation) so they can get the excitement expressed. We take our walk (on leash through your neighborhood routes or through your yard) for a bathroom break and exercise. Any needs like feeding or water freshening are then taken care of. The remaining time in the visit wraps up with play and affection. We end with a calm minute or two (usually through sitting down for affection) so that you dog settles down and has a good end-of-visit experience.
