Pet care experience
I am a mom and trail runner/hill walker :) who is home full-time and in graduate school online. I am a nurse and a psychiatric nurse practitioner student. I own my home and have .75 of an acre securely fenced. I grew up on a farm in Fairview, NC and I have a ten year old Chinese crested powderpuff dog named Penny. I have spent my whole life around animals and they bring me so much joy. It is my goal to provide the kind of experience you want for your dog. I do lots of snuggling, playing, going to parks, taking walks, and interacting with doggies. I try my best to provide exactly what you ask of me when it comes for caring for your special buddy. I specialize in helping nervous owners feel confident about leaving their dogs in my care by providing lots of updates, photos, and videos. I also offer free bathing as a perk! Dogsitting is the best job I have ever had! I’d like to watch your dog in my home or yours but I would ask they be child friendly :) as I have a very loving 5 year old son. We cannot thank Rebekah enough, lots of great pictures of them throughout the entire time we were away, and they always seemed to be smiling, so I know they had fun! I would highly, highly recommend using Rebekah if you are in her area and need a sitter, she truly is wonderful <3
Rebekah took excellent care of our sweet girl while we spent an afternoon at the Biltmore. They went on a hike and our pup was happily relaxed for the remainder of our drive. Thanks, Rebekah!
Rebekah did a fantastic job keeping my rambunctious 10 momth old puppy. She took her to the park for long walks, followed feeding and sleeping instructions and Dusty was happy and well exercised when I picked her up.

Information Rebekah M. would like to know about your pet
I can only watch dogs that do not have a history or harming or biting children :) Jumping or excited behavior is fine as my son gets "loved on/knocked over" when we visit my Dad's 100 lb farm dogs. Even grumpy old dogs are fine- I have watched many elderly dogs that are grumpy but not biters :) I am very understanding about doggie particularities- for example, my puppy Penny is not a fan of men in hats over 6 ft tall but she is 10 lbs and a little lacking in the "scary" department.
A typical day
Walks and runs (if ok) in Bent creek, grove park area, Richmond hill trails, beaver lake, or carrier park dog place. Throw balls and frisbees in the yard, take naps, practice tricks for treats, hang out with my sweet five year old son and snuggles! I also offer free dog bathing if you wish as a perk but please bring your own shampoo if your pup has sensitive skin :)
