I treat your doggy like they are my own. They can watch TV with me, sleep with me, go along on errands or to lunch. I work from home, so if they stay over they would enjoy constant companionship. Taking a break, and walking with a furry friend outdoors surrounded by fresh air and open sky, is one of my most favorite things to do in the whole world, and for those pets with high energy going along on my daily run. Your pups home away from home, I literally adopt your pet for the time it is with me and treat it exactly as I would if it were my own precious doggy. Each pet has their own personality and style. I enjoy getting to know each dog and watching them relax, get comfortable, open up and experience their best confident self. Each pet has their own unique ways and needs, some want to cuddle, some want to sprawl, some are energetic, some like to nap, I provide a one-on-one experience and adjust to each dogs’ wants and needs. I have been a long-term pet caretaker for three families over the past ten years, the last two years, living in the pets home while their families were away. One on a trip around the world, the other taking care of a terminally ill parent. While, I have been professionally responsible for pets for the past 10 years, I have had a lifetime of taking care of my own pets starting with my pet cat Dusty when I was barely 3 years old (see photo). I adore all animals and love their energy and spirit. I live in West End/Georgetown in a dog loving building, with a full dog washing station, so it is easy to clean up after a romp outside. I am surrounded by green space, water ways, and just a mile from W&OD trail for long, long walks.
