Rebekah recently adopted a sweet little dachshund named Sophie that has been staying with me until Rebekah moves to her new home in a few days. Every day I watch her care for a sometimes temperamental dog with patience and love. She has made so much progress with Sophie in the last few weeks without spoiling her and she is dedicated to proper care and development. If your dog is well-trained, that makes Rebekah's job easier, but know that she is capable and willing to care of any dog; I see it every day! Rebekah is a very loving individual. Since birth Rebekah has been exposed to varying pets ranging from dogs to hamsters and fish. When Rebekah was born our family dogs were Dobermans (rescue animals) named JJ and Gnocchi. She did beautifully with them from a young age. She was always helpful with feeding them and playing with them. Later we adopted a German Shepard, which is what Rebekah grew up with for most of her life. Rebekah took "Mariah" for lots of walks, provided her with lots of love and attention and helped with feeding her until she passed away. Rebekah has also spent lots of time volunteering in animal shelters. So much so she ended up adopting her first dog since being on her own. "Sophie" was very shy and timid when she got her but now Sophie is thriving and is happy with her new "mom". I think Rebekah would be an asset to your organization as she is a caring individual, has lots of experience with dogs and other animals and has a big heart.
